To effectively carry out work safety management for the resumption of work and production after the Spring Festival and prevent and resolve various safety risks, Jiabao Safety recently assisted a relevant unit in the water sector to launch a special safety training on resumption of work and production themed "Forging a Solid Safety Line in the Water Sector", helping water enterprises in the jurisdiction to advance all work of resumption in a safe and orderly manner.

At the training session, the lecturing experts took "Keep the Alarm Bell Ringing, Return to Safety Focus" as the core theme, and conducted an in-depth analysis of prominent safety risks prone to occur during the post-festival resumption of work and production, such as the "post-holiday syndrome among staff", "equipment hibernation issues" and "management connection gaps". Meanwhile, combining multiple typical safety accident cases including the Guangdong Shaoguan "3·5" flash explosion accident, the Qiqihar nursing home fire accident and the Mianyang textile mill confined space accident, the experts used real and painful accident lessons to warn all participants that work safety must start from the heart, the string of work safety must be tightened at all times, and the mindset of carelessness and negligence must be eliminated.
After the Spring Festival, all walks of life have successively resumed work and production, but historical data shows that the post-festival resumption period is a high-incidence stage for work safety accidents. Multiple risks such as poor staff condition, abnormal equipment operation and poor management connection overlap, making potential safety hazards imminent. A number of safety accidents that occurred within one month after the 2026 Spring Festival have proven with cruel facts that there is no room for the slightest slack in work safety work. Centering on the basic requirements for work safety in resumption of work and production, the training also systematically interpreted the relevant provisions of the Work Safety Regulation of Guangdong Province, and focused on promoting the six core measures for resumption of work and production (the "Six Ones"): holding a special meeting of the leading group, formulating a thorough resumption plan, convening a general meeting of all employees, carrying out safety education for all staff, developing a set of emergency disposal plans, and conducting a comprehensive safety inspection. The lecturing experts also gave detailed explanations on the safety management requirements for key links in the water industry such as confined space operations, working at heights, construction electricity use, scaffolding erection and construction fire protection, and provided hands-on guidance for participants to master the key points of hidden danger investigation and the standardized procedures for emergency disposal, making the training content more practical. In addition, combining recent typical accident cases, the training conducted an in-depth interpretation of legal liabilities for work safety violations, and emphasized that relevant units failing to implement the "Six Ones" measures will face legal risks such as administrative penalties, accountability and even criminal liability, further strengthening the awareness of the main responsibility for work safety of the principal person in charge of each enterprise.
With rich content, prominent key points and strong pertinence, this training effectively improved the work safety awareness and risk prevention capabilities of practitioners in the water sector, laying a solid foundation for a good start to the work safety work of the water industry in the new year.
